About Us
In 2008 the Pellet Plant was erected to fight our sawmill sites wood waste issues. Since then we have dedicated ourselves to the production of sustainably sourced, quality wood pellets for in-home heating, bedding and solidification purposes.
​We pride ourselves on the fact that all our wood pellets are produced from sustainably sourced wood fibers, ensuring there is a circular timber market in Southwest Arkansas.

Sutton Lumber offers wood pellets for in-home heating, animal bedding, and solidification purposes.
Fuel Pellets
Our fuel pellets are a premium blend of hardwood and pine wood fibers. The premium blend offers the best of both worlds when it comes to Fuel Pellets.
The Pine dust offers a quick ignition and higher BTU output while the Hardwood dust offers a long lasting burn. Our fuel pellets meet all Premium characteristics; 8% moisture, low dust and less than 1% Ash Content.

Bedding Pellets
Our bedding pellets are 100% Southern Yellow Pine and offer a great alternative to traditional shavings.
The fresh pine scent sequesters ammonia, and the high absorbency results in more time in-between cleaning out stalls or coops. Your average 12'x12' stall only requires 6-8 bags of pellets. Bedding pellets are also available in 1 ton super sacks to cut down on plastic wastes.
Solidification
Our wood pellets are also used in the oil and gas industries acting as a solidification agent for any liquid waste created in the processes of drilling, fracking, or pipeline installation.
The solidification of liquid waste nearly cuts disposal costs in half when riding of liquid waste and is a much safer alternative to common solidification agents like lime.
